Paul Coogan for Mayor
On January 6th 2020, I took an oath to serve our city in fairness, honesty, and with the best interests of the people of Fall River in mind. We’ve made incredible strides for Fall River since then, and I am extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished together. As we look ahead towards a third term, I promise to continue to honor this oath and do everything I can to keep moving Fall River forward.
As your Mayor, I'm proud and grateful to serve our city
During the course of my two terms as Mayor, I believe we have much to be proud of, and celebrate. We perservered through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have seen our unemployment rate drop, new businesses open or relocate to our City and existing businesses expand.
We have seen several years of unprecedented new growth in local revenues. We have seen an investment in our City in the form of market rate housing in our downtown and our waterfront areas that will help support local businesses. We have utilized ARPA funds to complete long-needed infrastructure improvements and provide tax relief to the rate payers.
The Coogan Administration continues to focus on public safety, education, economic development and improving the quality of life in the city for our residents. There is still a lot of work to do, so I humbly ask for your support as I run for re-election as Mayor of Fall River.
